What we do

Share stories of overcoming shame, a secret, or some sort of struggle to inspire hope and healing

our mission

To set people free through the power of owning and sharing YOUR story.

our vision

Through the power of storytelling we will inspire people across the globe to fully embrace their story and therefore themselves, so that they may know they're not alone, and also discover love and purpose in this life to the greatest capacity.

OUR VALUES

BE COURAGEOUSLY AUTHENTIC because love and purpose to the greatest capacity can only be found through owning your full story.

INSPIRE FAITH by connecting people to a purpose greater than themselves (this is not about religion).

CREATE COMMUNITY by extending one of the greatest gifts you can give another person, which is the gift of knowing you're not alone.

ENCOURAGE COMPASSION by helping to break the stigmas surrounding common human struggles that keep so many silent and isolated because shame makes us believe we're alone.

SPREAD HOPE through showing that healing and wholeness are possible

BE COURAGEOUSLY AUTHENTIC because love and purpose to the greatest capacity can only be found through owning your full story.

Nichole Mischke is on a mission to UNCOVER stories of shame and struggle so people can be set free from the toxic lies shame tells us all. As a journalist who expected to spend her career working in television news, Nichole has always had a passion to share OTHER people's stories. However, it took finding the courage to share her OWN story to really bring to her attention the healing power that comes when we own and share our truth, especially the parts shame tells us to hide.

It was in 2017 that Nichole found the courage to share her story for the very first time, stepping out from behind the masks of perfection she'd been wearing, and finally admitting to a 10-year secret battle with bulimia. In sharing the full truth of her story Nichole tapped into a love she'd never experienced before. Not only were other people standing there loving her back for something she had thought made her unloveable, she was able to develop a self-love she'd never known before and eventually felt connected to a love and purpose so much greater than herself. Her experience sharing her own story gave her the vision for UNCOVERED.

UNCOVERED exists to share stories of overcoming shame or struggle to inspire hope and healing by extending three of the greatest gifts a person can receive to those who are courageous enough to share:

  1. The gift of having the opportunity to share your story outside of your immediate circle
  2.  The gift of knowing you're not alone
  3. The gift of being connected back to yourself so you can find love and purpose in this life to the greatest capacity
